The Neighborhood Security Initiative was created in 2007 to serve the community with a comprehensive plan for security in the Central West End.

Mayor Lyda Krewson announced this afternoon that there is now a curfew in place until further notice. From 9 pm until 6 am starting June 2nd and continuing until further notice, people need to stay inside their homes or on their properties. Anyone on a public street or sidewalk will be violating the order.
There are exceptions for those traveling to and from work and medical care. There is also an exception for those without homes.
