

UPDATE: Suspect arrested in connection with robbery, shooting caught on NSI security cameras
Updated September 1, 2017 at 11:40 a.m. St. Louis Police have arrested a man in connection with a robbery and shooting on August 29 at the intersection of Taylor Avenue and Lindell Boulevard. Police arrested Cecil Keen on August 30. Keen is being charged with first degree robbery, first degree attempted robbery, first degree assault, three counts of armed criminal action, first degree tampering with an auto, and resisting arrest. NSI celebrates National Night Out in a 'cool' way
On August 1, the NSI hosted an ice cream social to celebrate the nationwide annual National Night Out. The event centers on fostering positive police-community relationships within neighborhoods. These relationships are vital for crime prevention, among other things.
